What We Believe:

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original writings. We believe that there is one God, eternally existing: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His sacrificial atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His future coming to receive us in power and glory.  We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; those that are saved unto the resurrection of life and those that are unsaved unto the resurrection of damnation. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that lost and sinful mankind’s only hope is the Gospel of redemption through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. That good news is that when a person hears the gospel and believes in Jesus – that He is both Lord and Savior, then that person will repent, confessing Jesus, allowing themself to be baptized – that is, immersed in water, which signifies the believer’s death, burial, and resurrection into new life in Christ Jesus.   That, thus becoming a member of the Body of Christ, they should continue to walk in the light, living as God would have them do, growing in Christ.  This includes worshiping God as set forth in the New Testament, obeying God rather than man.
